In the clay brick and tile industry, drying is performed to a large extent by means of convection drying in continuous dryers, corridor dryers and tunnel dryers. Chamber dryers are used especially when high production flexibility is required. The green products to be dried are placed on drying supports and these on dryer racks that are transported by dryer cars through the dryer. In rapid dryers, products made with suitable raw materials can be dried in much shorter times than in conventional dryers. For rapid drying, other dryer models are used. Heat recovery equipment and heat exchangers are used for optimal utilization of heat.
